Tons of questions arise with even the simplest PC mission, and with each answer potential intrigue develops! I really like this approach. But, can the Druids hold it? How? Would they request support from Ength? What is the Druid's motivation anyway? Suppose the PCs take out one of the clans of the Spider Goblins East of Skelan? Entities wanting that area would be the other two clans, obviously, and maybe the Druids. A quick visualization of who would want to move into a void created by the PCs? It would also, and the reason I did it in the first place, help to determine what should be in the random encounter tables for any given part of the map. I like it now that I have done it, and it should come in handy when PCs begin to interact with said monsters. Actually, I think I have way too many humanoid clans for the scale, but it was fun.
